Bruno Marroni takes over the helm of the GEMINI Collective Foundation
Back to overviewThe Foundation Board of the GEMINI Collective Foundation has taken the decision to insource the management of the Foundation. As of 1 July 2023, Bruno Marroni will take on the role of Managing Director of the GEMINI Collective Foundation. In his new position, he will report directly to the highest body, the Foundation Board of the GEMINI Collective Foundation. All other services, such as sales, member management, accounting, etc., will remain with the long-standing provider, Avadis Vorsorge AG in Zurich. The Foundation Board is taking this step to further strengthen the GEMINI Collective Foundation.
“Bruno Marroni is a respected expert with in-depth knowledge of the Swiss pension sector,” says Vital G. Stutz, Chairman of the Foundation Board. “We are delighted that we have succeeded in recruiting Mr Marroni for the position of Managing Director of the GEMINI Collective Foundation.”
Since its establishment in 1977, the GEMINI Collective Foundation has grown to become one of the leading independent employee benefits institutions in Switzerland. The Foundation now insures around 33,000 beneficiaries with an investment volume of CHF 5.9 billion. Bruno Marroni: “Thanks to the previous positions I have held both at GEMINI and at competing institutions, I have a very thorough understanding of the market and of the GEMINI ‘DNA’. To be able to contribute to the further successful development of GEMINI is something I am very much looking forward to.”
About Bruno Marroni
Bruno Marroni (57) holds a federal pension fund management certificate and a federal social insurance certificate. He has been working in the employee benefits field since 1989, primarily in the collective foundation sector. From 2004 to 2008, he managed the sales activities of the GEMINI Collective Foundation. He then went on to take over the management and development of a new collective foundation.
