Sustainability in management

Sustainability is important to us on an environmental, social and corporate level. Together with our management company, Avadis, we implement targeted measures to promote a responsible approach to the environment and society.

Environmentally friendly travel

We are continuously reducing our energy and resource consumption. We fully offset unavoidable CO₂ emissions through myclimate. Our employees use public transport with Half Fare Travelcards; for business trips, we rely on Mobility. Working from home and digital communication reduce our travel expenses still further.

The right balance

We create a healthy working environment with ergonomic workplaces, free food and drink and access to external health services. Flexible working hours, part-time working models and working from home help ensure a good work-life balance.

Responsible management

A binding code of conduct and an independent Compliance Office provide clear rules and transparency. We protect sensitive data and regularly train our teams in ethical behaviour and digital risks. We live and breathe diversity and equality – almost half of our leadership positions are held by women.

Sustainability in our investments

As a responsible collective foundation, we pursue a holistic approach to sustainability – including in our investments. Our ultimate goal is to secure the promised benefits over the long term. When we make our investment decisions, we take account of internationally recognised ESG criteria for environmental, social and governance aspects.
