Your retirement
We are happy to answer all your questions about retirement and support you in making those all-important decisions.
According to the law, you have the flexibility and freedom to retire between the ages of 58 and 70. Specifically, you have the choice between early retirement, regular retirement, partial retirement and deferred retirement.
We have listed some useful sources of information below
Your employer’s occupational benefits plan: this contains the provisions that apply to you personally.
Leaflet on retirement: this contains all the information on the different forms of retirement and retirement benefits.
Connect online portal: you can use this to calculate the impact different retirement ages would have on your retirement benefits.
Good to know
Depending on your employer’s occupational benefits plan, you can receive your retirement benefits as a pension, as capital or as a mixture of the two.
You must inform us of your retirement at least four weeks before reaching retirement age.
Once you have submitted your notification of retirement, you will not be able to make any changes to the way you draw your pension.
What you need to do next
Check your pension certificate and your employer’s occupational benefits plan with regard to your retirement.
Read the leaflet on retirement.
Please inform us in good time how you would like to draw your retirement benefits using the “Notification of retirement” form.
